Toronto High Park FC wanted to share this story of one parent's experience at this past weekend's U8 Junior Development Program festival. This story originally appeared in the Toronto Star and was written by Damien Cox, the Star's Hockey columnist.

Reports of Saturday's U08 Junior Development Program (JDP) Festival have been fantastic. The event, in which Toronto High Park FC hosted 32 teams from the Toronto Soccer Association (TSA), comprised of 48 games over a 3-hour period with 8 games being played concurrently. Each fixture was based on a 5v5 model, including goalies. Five of our boys' and three of girls' teams represented the Club.

Soccer Canada and State Farm (represented by George McFarlane, one of THPFC's local sponsors) have come together to offer one lucky volunteer a trip for four, including transportation and two nights accommodation, to a Canadian National Team match!
